Caloris Engineering wants to congratulate Nature’s One on its bold vision to build the world’s first organic infant formula production facility for powders.
“Caloris is proud to have been selected by Nature’s One for this important project for their growth and future to supply our spray dryer for this facility,” said Caloris President & CEO Jim Peterson. “Caloris will not only supply this equipment, but is dedicated to provide the support and training at the facility to assure its safe success now and in the future. We’re excited to see this infant formula produced in a U.S.-designed and delivered factory that will compete and win in the global marketplace.”
The flexibility and function offered by the Caloris spray dryer will allow for the processing of both dairy-based and plant protein-based infant formula in this facility.
Caloris is not only contributing the deep skill and experience of its engineers in the discipline of spray drying, but also collaborated on the hygienic design of the building. The powder-handling/transport systems including the inert gassing system necessary to achieve the shelf stability of the final packaged powders as they travel to their markets around the world also will be supplied by Caloris.
Caloris will be producing the above equipment at its subsidiary, Seitz Stainless LLC, in Avon, Minn.
The Nature’s One plant is to be built in Heath, Ohio, and will be in operation early in 2020.
