Caloris: How did you get involved in this field?

Gary: In late 80’s, I was lucky enough to get involved in early development of the whey protein industry.

Caloris: What do you enjoy most about working with customers?

Gary: That they know they can discuss difficult issues with me.

Caloris: You work for us remotely, from Minnesota. What do you like most about living out there?

Gary: Access to outdoor activities.

Gary: I enjoy hiking, backpacking, fishing and overseas travel.

Caloris: What’s the longest distance you’ve hiked?

Gary: The Lost Coast Trail in Northern California — 57 miles.

Caloris: What’s your favorite place to hike in Minnesota?

Gary: The Superior Hiking Trail.

Caloris: What’s your favorite cheese?

Gary: Blue Cheese
