Katie started with Caloris just a few weeks ago. Get to know her below!

Caloris: How did you get involved in accounting?

Katie: My introduction to the wonderful world of accounting was as Night Auditor at the Tidewater Inn during the late 1990s.

Caloris: What do you enjoy most about your work?

Katie: I am a creature of habit, so while it may be boring to others, I actually enjoy the predictability and sense of satisfaction I get by completing daily tasks. I also enjoy working with spreadsheets and analyzing data. Most of all, I enjoy being helpful to others.

Caloris: What do you like most about living/working in Easton, Maryland? 

Katie: I recently returned to my hometown of Easton, Md., where I appreciate the new foodie culture, music at the Avalon Theater and Stoltz Listening Room, and learning more about the Shore’s history. I plan to remain living and working here, and grow more involved in the community.

Caloris: What are your hobbies? Anything else fun you’d like to share?

Katie: Boating, fishing, jigsaw puzzles, reading and eating.

Caloris: What’s your favorite cheese?

Katie: Impossible to choose…Whichever cheese I am eating at the moment is my favorite!

Caloris: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Katie: Mint Chocolate Chip – definitely the green kind

Caloris: Anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

Katie: I am obsessed with all things penguin.
