Caloris: How did you get involved in engineering?

Tony: While in high school, I took drafting at the local vocational school. I liked designing equipment and improving on existing equipment.

Caloris: What do you enjoy most about your work?

Tony: Once the engineering and design is finished, the next phase is installing all the equipment. I love seeing the equipment you design get lowered into a building and set in its final resting place.

Caloris: You are based in Maryland. What do you like most about living/working here? 

Tony: I live in Annapolis. I love living near the water and love the history of this town. If you live in Maryland, chances are you live close to the water.

Caloris: What are your hobbies? Anything else fun you’d like to share?

Tony: I love building. I love the planning of it through to the finish work. I am remodeling a house I bought in Deep Creek Lake. From the floor joists, all electrical, plumbing to roof and siding. When it’s finished it will be my biggest project to date.

Caloris: What’s your favorite cheese?

Tony: American Cheese/Velveeta

Caloris: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?

Tony: My favorite ice cream is Neapolitan.
