How well do you know your evaporator? Food processing benefits from evaporation in many ways, but it’s important to have the right style of evaporator for your plant and to keep it running efficiently for the best results. Whether processing dairy, juice, tea, coffee or another food product, Caloris has many options to fit your production needs
CALORIS FLEXMODE® Evaporator: Food processing benefits from tailored design options that provide the best solutions for varying plant needs. The CALORIS FLEXMODE® is a steam-heated evaporator with a unique modular design. It can be configured for many different product requirements, capacities, steam efficiencies and costs. In fact, FlexMode systems—while intelligently pre-engineered—are specifically designed to be easily customized. A popular choice for dairy, juice and sweetener processors.
CALORIS CONCENTRIX® MVR: Maybe steam isn’t an option in your situation. The Concentrix MVR is a high-efficiency falling film evaporator system using proprietary turbofan technology for heating by Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR), driving the evaporation process with electrical power. Falling film evaporation technology means that only a small quantity of product is held inside the Concentrix at any given moment, minimizing the time required for system start-up, rinse-out, CIP and shutdown. Used by processors both on the product and the wastewater processing side.
CALORIS DFC® Evaporator: Food processing benefits from efficiency across the production line and the CALORIS DFC® can help your spray dryer perform better. Installing a CALORIS DFC® in front of your spray dryer increases feed solids to the dryer, and maintains solids at desired maximum level for a full production day, maximizing your dryer’s powder production capacity.
Caloris Custom Evaporators: Extra-large production capacity, product specific designs, a single-pass product flow through the evaporator system, various compressor back-up options, or integration of regenerative heat concepts with other process equipment outside the core evaporator system—these are a few of the challenges Caloris custom evaporators help customers meet.
Keep It Going
