Caloris Engineering has raised the robustness bar for skidded water RO systems by standardizing on a stainless steel frame for its units.

The advantages to the stainless steel frame are many. Notably, the surface is corrosion-free and will continue to be, even if alterations are made to the frame at a future date.
Because Caloris and its manufacturing subsidiary, Seitz Stainless, LLC, are specialized in handling stainless steel, there is no significant cost increase to the stainless steel frame over the standard alternative. And because the mild steel paint prep and painting steps are eliminated, potential quality problems are avoided and system delivery time is reduced.
“We are pleased to be able to offer stainless steel skidded water RO configurations to our customers,” said Caloris President & CEO Jim Peterson. “This is still another feature of our RO systems that will ensure durability for years to come.”
The first unit in this configuration was assembled at the Seitz Stainless facility in Avon, Minn. The crew at Seitz fabricated the frame components out of 304 stainless steel before assembling the system in-house.
