Caloris Engineering juice evaporators have long been a part of juice company and winery operations, helping them to concentrate their products.

Juice Evaporators: Many Designs to Choose From
From large-scale custom juice evaporators, to smaller packaged units, Caloris evaporation equipment is used across the juice and beverage industry. Back in 2008, Caloris redesigned and modified a 7-effect grape juice evaporator system to become the world’s largest and most steam-efficient (above left). A few years later we topped that by designing and building the world’s largest MVR evaporator system for grape juice (above right)!
Our pre-engineered systems are also in demand by smaller operations. The CALORIS CONCENTRIX® MVR Evaporator and CALORIS FLEXMODE® Evaporator can be scaled up or down to suit the needs of your plant.
Juice Evaporators: Did You Know?
Large-scale wineries and juice producers must harvest the fruit they need for their operations all at the same time, but they manufacture their juice or wine products all year long. In order to accomplish this, they concentrate the raw juice after harvest and then reconstitute it throughout the year as part of the production process. The concentration step is where Caloris juice evaporators come in to play, often after what is known as “the crush” in the wine industry.
California: The Grape State
Caloris has an office in Modesto, Calif. We are poised and ready to help West Coast juice producers with their evaporation needs.
How Can We Help You?
Caloris evaporators also have been used to concentrate tea and soda solutions. Our evaporation systems and membrane filtration equipment can also help on the wastewater side of juice and beverage production.
