If you are considering a wastewater evaporator rental, there are several key things to keep in mind:
1) What is the volume of wastewater you are trying to process and over what period of time?
These factors will help us determine the size of evaporator required for your immediate needs.
2) What power source(s) do you have available for the wastewater evaporator rental?
Caloris has several different wastewater evaporator rental options to choose from for temporary remediation needs and each has different power requirements. Providing us with your power source information will help us determine which equipment best suits your situation.
3) Who will run the equipment while on-site?
Caloris will work with your staff to set up the evaporator and train them on its operation. Designating operators ahead of time is recommended so that they can be properly trained when the equipment arrives.
4) What are the constituents of your wastewater stream?
The components of your wastewater stream may dictate the materials of construction that are required for the evaporator unit you need. Some constituents (radioactive material, for example), may require a dedicated evaporator (versus a rental) because it may render the equipment unusable for future work.
5) Are you seeking to recover/reuse any material from your waste stream?
Many waste streams can be broken down into components that are reusable. CIP chemicals, for instance, can be separated from the waste stream for possible reuse. Clean water condensate also will result from the evaporation process. Do you have a way to reuse this water within your facility?
6) How can you maximize your wastewater evaporator rental?
Do you have multiple sites or materials that require remediation? Consider whether you can use the evaporator for multiple duties while you have it on site. Be sure to alert us to all possible materials and quantities that will run through the evaporator so we can be sure to send you the appropriate equipment.
Also, if you have a relatively small amount of material to evaporator, a rental may not be your best option. Minimum rental periods and freight costs should be taken into account before opting to rent an evaporator unit.
