In the May edition of its newsletter, Horizons, Hoogewegt Group details a spike in demand for low-spore milk powders and chronicles the success of its collaboration with Lone Star Dairy Products (LSDP) to produce these powders. Caloris installed its patented low-spore powder production system at the LSDP plant in Canyon, Texas, in 2017.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office announced today that the Caloris Low-Spore Process was awarded Patent No. 10,182,580 (“System and Method for Production of Low Thermophile and Low Spore Milk Powder”).
Sunday, July 1, marks the twelfth anniversary of Caloris! We sure have grown a lot from the original 4 co-founders. Caloris now has 35 employees in three locations with more than 500 years of collective experience in evaporation, membrane filtration and drying.
