Caloris Engineering LLC supplies evaporation, spray drying, and membrane filtration processing equipment to the food/beverage, dairy, and wastewater industries. Projects range from engineering evaluations to delivery of integrated multi-technology processing solutions. Essential Functions:

Oversee general ledger and accounting functions and systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate financial accounts.

Manage the month end closing process and ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly in a timely manner.

Prepare, analyze, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.

Ensure sound financial controls based on Caloris’ requirements are established and maintained. Maintain adequate accounting systems access controls and ensure control of confidential and proprietary information.

Coordinate with accounting group to ensure the accounting system is recording all transactions are properly captured and recorded. Troubleshoot as necessary.

Work with senior management on an ongoing basis to provide analysis and develop key metrics that enable Caloris to effectively run the business (forecasting, special analysis, etc.).

Cost Accounting and Contract Administration, monitor, analyze, and report on project status.

Vendor Rationalization.

Sales and Use Tax administration.

Coordinate physical inventory, audit, and summarize results.

Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Billings functions.

Support analytical needs including project analysis and variance reporting.

Manage the coordination and completion of annual financial audits.

Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Abilities:

Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
-
5+ years of total experience in accounting and industry, prefer manufacturing industry and percentage of completion experience.

Proven supervisory skills with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.

Advanced knowledge of Excel.

Strong numerical proficiency, organization, good problem-solving skills, and excellent use of logic.

Solid process improvement skills and a proven change agent.
Other:
-
Travel is limited with this position and on average is less than 10% of the time. On occasion, a trip to the Avon, MN office may be necessary.
