Company President Jim Peterson Adds Role of CEO
EASTON, Md.—Caloris Engineering Co-Founder Artur Zimmer has transitioned to the role of Chief Technology Officer. Zimmer, who retains a significant ownership position in the company, had been CEO for the last several years. Current Caloris President Jim Peterson has added the role of CEO.
“This step in a carefully planned transition will free Art to focus his time on technical solutions, working closely with the engineering team at Caloris, and continue with his advocacy for our customers,” Peterson said. “He will, of course, remain engaged in the company, but with his energy directed toward the activity he loves most.”
Educated in Germany, Zimmer has spent his career developing and implementing innovative thermal processing technologies to help customers achieve unprecedented performance regarding energy efficiency, reliability, product quality and hygiene. Zimmer had been president of Caloris since its inception in 2006, transitioning to the role of CEO several years ago.
