Caloris Engineering Employee Matthew Brunton to Teach Math in Africa
EASTON, Md. – Caloris Engineering, LLC, of Easton, Md., is proud to announce that Project Engineer Matthew Brunton has joined the Peace Corps and soon will depart for Africa where he will teach math to secondary school students in Lesotho.
“We are all excited for Matt as he embarks on this journey,” said Caloris President Artur Zimmer. “He has been a true asset to Caloris and we will miss him, but we also believe strongly that there is no higher call in life than to help others.”
Brunton, a native of Alabama, has a degree in chemical engineering. He will take a month off to return home before departing for training in Africa in October. His two-year term as a teacher there will begin in December.
