In the May edition of its newsletter, Horizons, Hoogewegt Group details a spike in demand for low-spore milk powders and chronicles the success of its collaboration with Lone Star Dairy Products (LSDP) to produce these powders. Caloris installed its patented low-spore powder production system at the LSDP plant in Canyon, Texas, in 2017.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office announced today that the Caloris Low-Spore Process was awarded Patent No. 10,182,580 (“System and Method for Production of Low Thermophile and Low Spore Milk Powder”).
